“One of the diodes on the digital clock display of my 2019 Samsung kitchen range went out after five years of loyal service, so I had to get it repaired. Mr. Appliance of Lincoln Park took care of it. They fulfilled all the requirements of an appliance repair service: someone answers the phone, a repair person is dispatched within a reasonable amount of time, the repair person shows up within the stated timeframe, a reasonable estimate is made, the part arrives, and the repair person returns again in a reasonable amount of time within the stated timeframe, and completes the repair. I'm glad I found Mr. Appliance!”

“Mr Appliance of Lincoln Park is, hands down, the best repair expert I've ever worked with. Long story short, we had a defective LG refrigerator (compressor issue on over 1.6M refrigerators), LG was a nightmare to work with, but we finally managed to get them to send out a new compressor (per the terms of the lawsuit that was filed against them). We struggled to find a servicer to install the compressor... crazy!!! We called three other shops in Chicago and they all turned us down, but not Mr. Appliance. Not only did they take on our repair, but they guided us through the process, even working closely with LG to obtain the repair part (because LG would only send it to the servicer...!). The manager, Nathan, knew that we were desperate because we have a newborn but no refrigerator to help store breastmilk and this was in the middle of the formula shortage... Nathan actually offered to let us borrow a spare mini-fridge (how freakin' nice is that!?). The technician that diagnosed the issue with our refrigerator was quick and efficient and the technician that installed the new compressor was everything you'd want in a service technician. He was polite, friendly, he cleaned up after himself, and he told me what he was doing as he worked through the repair--answering all my questions along the way. Mr. Appliance installed the new compressor in a few hours and it's been working like a clock ever since (three weeks ago) and they stand by their repairs so I'm confident that I made the right choice in repairing the fridge (which was not a cheap fix as it was about half of the price of a new fridge). Needless to say, we were really stressing considering we were without a fridge for ~3 weeks, with a newborn, during a formula shortage... but Mr. Appliance saved the day and has earned a life-long customer. THANK YOU!!!!!!!”
