Fort Worth Washing Machine Repair

Washer Repair Experts Near You

Washing machines are an indispensable part of modern life. Compared to the 1800s, washing our clothes has become a seamlessly easy process. In fact, we have machines that do it for us! Washing machines are so convenient (and effective) that when they leak water, vibrate way too much, or won’t drain, it seems as if the world has ended, especially for families with children.

Rather than reverting back to the Victorian way to wash your clothes, or perhaps worse, trying to fix your washer by yourself, call your local washing machine repair experts to do it for you! That’s why we’re here.

My Washing Machine Is Broken – Now What?

Rather than throwing your arms up and panic, take a deep breath and follow these steps:

  1. Check if your washer is warrantied by its retailer or manufacturer – new machines might be warrantied so we’d recommended checking on that first so you can try to save some money.
  2. If you have a home warranty, see if your washer repair is covered under your policy.
  3. If you’ve stricken out with these warranty options, call Mr. Appliance of Saginaw to schedule your washing machine repair service. If you proceed with our recommended repair, your initial service call fee is waived!

If your washer is broken, don’t try fixing it yourself! Call Mr. Appliance of Saginaw at (817) 497-8027 and leave the repair to the experts!

I Have a Couple Screwdrivers! Shall I Take a Stab at Fixing it Myself?

You might see only a few screws on the outside, but the inside is a completely different world. From the motor and motor pulley, to the transmission, to the water pump, to the water level control assembly, your washer is made up of so many components. If you try to disassemble the machine and fix it yourself, you might wind up making matters worse (which could prolong your washer’s downtime).

Mr. Appliance of Saginaw is made up of washer repair experts who are familiar with so many washer brands and, to them, your washer’s mechanical components is their second language. Plus, they have all of the necessary tools to successfully repair your washer as quickly as they possibly can. Unfortunately, a couple of screwdrivers won’t cut it; instead, call the experts!

Should I Replace My Washer Entirely or Repair it?

Most washing machines last around 10 years, so if yours is younger than that, and repairs are less than 50% of the cost for a new washer, you’d probably save money by repairing it. But, if your washing machine is older than 10 years or if the cost of fixing it is over 50% of a new machine’s cost, we’d recommended buying a new one.

If you’d still like an expert opinion, give us a call at (817) 497-8027 and we’ll be happy to provide some insight. If you do end up buying a new washing machine, check out this article which lists some of the top washing machines you could buy in 2021Link opens in a new tab.

Can My Washer’s Life Expectancy be Improved Through Maintenance?

While most washers last about 10 years, your washer could develop problems within the first 3 years of its life. To help make your washer last as long as it can, try:

  • Not using too much detergent
  • Inspecting its water-fill hoses
  • Not overloading the washer with too much laundry
  • Leaving the door open slightly to let the washer air out
  • Transferring clean clothes to the dryer right after they’re washed

However, if there’s any question in your mind about the state of your washer, give us a call and we’ll be happy to take a look!

An existing Mr. Appliance customer was concerned their washer (and dryer) had some issues but after their local Mr. Appliance diagnosed both appliances, they didn’t end up needing major repairs. As such, these homeowners saved money and were left with peace of mind by having their local Mr. Appliance take a look.
