Chicken Jerky


  • Two to four chicken breasts


  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees
  2. After removing any excess fat, slice the chicken into 1/8-inch thick strips
  3. Bake the strips on a baking sheet two hours (your chicken should be dry and hard)
  4. Let it cool and watch your dog go crazy of their jerky!

Trail Mix


  • Unseasoned meat pieces
  • Potatoes
  • Assorted fruits and veggies (browse this list of DO NOT INCLUDE items so you don’t accidentally use anything poisonous to your pooch)


  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees
  2. Cut ingredients into ½-inch thick slices
  3. Bake until dry

Kitty Crunchies


  • ½ Cup quinoa flour
  • ½ Cup brown rice flour
  • 1 Tbsp dried catnip
  • Four to five sardines
  • ¼ Cup parsley, rough chopped
  • 1 egg
  • ½ Tbsp olive oil


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine ingredients in a food processor with a blade attachment
  3. Mix until cohesive and slightly sticky
  4. Roll into small balls or personalize it with tiny shapes
  5. Bake for 10 minutes
  6. Store in airtight container

This recipe is similar to store bought treats, minus the additives like food coloring, making it healthier for your pet.
