Meet Your Mr. Appliance: Ed & Beth Piotrowski
Mr. Appliance of Howard County celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 13, 2015 at the Howard County Chamber of Commerce. We officially opened for business on April 13, and we are looking forward to providing exceptional appliance repair service to the greater Howard County area.
Ed Piotrowski is an aviation veteran who served 30+ years in the United States Navy. Among many commands and positions held, his favorite was as a Radar Intercept Officer flying the F-14 Tomcat with 300 traps mostly onboard the USS Saratoga. While in the Navy Reserves, Ed worked in the telecom industry, as well as the software industry, managing security software development projects. He wrapped up his final three years in the Navy at Joint Base Andrews as Executive Director of Programs in 2011.
Beth (Wrightson) Piotrowski is a native of Ellicott City. She graduated from Catonsville High School and received her BA in English from UMBC. Beth spent many years working as a paralegal and also worked in the financial planning industry.
Ed and Beth agree one of the main attractions to starting up their franchise was the Code of Values that is embraced from top to bottom in the organization. These values are the same as those they live by. Honesty, integrity, professionalism, continuous process improvement, and putting people first motivated them to start up their location. Ed and Beth have four children, Michelle, Richard, Nicole, and Michael.
