Mary Hoover | Owner

Mary Hoover is a native of Reno, NV. After 35 years in healthcare she has made a 180 degree career change and purchased a 20 year old Mr. Appliance franchise for the greater Reno area. Mr. Appliance provides Expert Appliance Repair and is one of 11 concepts of the Dwyer group.

Mary has years of experience managing local health plans and decided to direct her business skills to a new industry. Formerly employed at Universal Health Network, Nevada Preferred Providers and Prominence Health Plan (FKA St Mary’s Health Plans) she wanted a new challenge and fulfilling career. She is a good match to the high quality, professionalism and customer service the Dwyer brand provides.

Mike Gabrielli | Office Manager

Mike Gabrielli a third generation Nevadan, joins Mr. Appliance in the positon of Office Manager. Mike brings 25 years of award winning experience in customer service, retail, operations and personnel management to Mr. Appliance. In his most recent 10 years of experience as Store Manager for T.J. Maxx, his team was awarded the Million $ Profit Club, Presidents Club, #1 in the district for Customer Experience, #1 in the district for donations raised for company supported charities, highest reduction in shrinkage and innovative thinking. Previously, Mike lead teams at Mervyn’s, Bed Bath & Beyond as well as owning, operating and selling a profitable successful startup restaurant for 8 years.

Jack Yoder | Service Technician

Mr. Appliance of Greater Reno has hired Jack Yoder a highly skilled experienced Service Technician. Jack has over 35 years’ experience in appliance repair. His prior experience includes running his own successful business in Salinas, CA for over 16 years. He also had years of repair experience with GE, Sears and Circuit City. Jack recently relocated to the Reno area and joined Mary in this exciting new business.

Mr. Appliance services the Greater Reno, Sparks area and are currently training our second technician to maintain fast customer response times.
