Happy 100th Birthday, Oreo!

Celebrate Oreo’s 100th Birthday with more than just a package of the sandwich cookie delights. Mix up your Oreo routine with these delicious and easy recipes as a thank you to America’s favorite cookie!

100 Years of Chocolate Cookie Happiness

Oreo Cake Balls

1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 18 oz. package of Oreo cookies, crushed with filling
2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 Tbsp shortening
  1. Mix cream cheese with electric mixer until fluffy.  Add the crushed Oreos and beat on high until well mixed.
  2. Chill for at least 2 hours in the freezer. Then roll Oreo cookie mix into one inch Oreo Balls.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips and shortening with a double boiler over stovetop.
  4. Dip the Oreo balls completely into the melted chocolate using tongs or a toothpick. Place on wax paper. Chill and serve.

Dunk in Milk & Enjoy!

Oreo and Peanut Butter Brownies

1 18 oz. package of Oreo cookies

1/2 c peanut butter, creamy

1 box of brownie mix

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
  2. Prepare brownie mix according to directions. Using a butter knife, coat a teaspoon of peanut over the top of two Oreos, stack on top of each other and place in paper liner of cupcake pan.
  3. Spoon 2 tablespoons of brownie batter over each stack of Oreos and let run over the sides.
  4. Bake cookies for 15-18 minutes, or until brownies are cooked through.
  5. Let cool, then serve.
